From TDD to ATDD

Test driven development aka TDD belongs (or at least should belong) to a basic kit of any professional software developer. It is a great development tool that can be considered one of main pillars of agile development. Despite that, TDD suffers from some important issues. Fortunately some of them could be addressed by ATDD.

During this tutorial we shall briefly discuss differences between Test Driven Development and Acceptance Test Driven Development. After that short introduction we shall discuss concepts of ATDD in depth. Besides we shall discover some open source tools that make usage of ATDD much easier.

Expected knowledge: No special skills and knowledge are required from attendees of the tutorial, however, some basic knowledge of software development cycle in agile and traditional methodologies, and orientation in testing concepts would be a great advantage.
